X-Plane 9.08 is here now, the EIGHTH free update! This free update contains new frame-rate increases, scenery improvements, physics improvements, and multiplayer!(Note for multiplayers: Go to the MAP screen and place your aircraft on a runway after selecting who you want to play with so you both start in the right place).It seems that most of the negative reviews are from people that did not read the instructions on how to FLY this sim. Remember, as is stated every time you start the app:->The throttle is automatically controlled for you.->You drag the collective DOWN to INCREASE pitch... a situation that is ergonomically the same as in real helos.REMEMBER: IN THE REAL HELO, YOU PULL THE COLLECTIVE HANDLE >TOWARDSTOWARDS<>

New in this version: Improved rendering: We now have stars at night, which is kind of nice.We also have better multi-drag control. This is really nice in X-Plane HELICOPTER because it really lets you precisely control the collective and tail-rotor at the same time! Left thumb on the collective, right thumb on the tail-rotor... works perfectly!As well, we also have some frame-rate improvements, which are really nice in the helo-version, where frame-rate is really important.
